Finding The Right Staff to Fill Rosters
Rostering Difficulties Problem #1
Filling rosters can be difficult, especially when trying to find the best fit for each role among the available staff.
Most osteers can be easily created by copying from a previous or demand-built roster
Sometimes the roster will have unfilled shifts due to a number of current employees not available due to being unavailable for some reason
Inzenius Rostering Solution
Inzenius Roster Bidding Process Saves Time and Reduces Risks
Rosters can be created for unfilled shifts and posted to available employees with the appropriate permissions and skills to fill them.
The shifts can be set to auto-populate with available employees or present to competent, unrostered available employees to bid for selection by the rosterer
These bids can be selected to be offered to individual available employees or as open bids to all available on a first-in basis
Either way, a real time-saving option
The Rosteer Bidding Process
Roster bidding is powerful and generally used for any unfilled shifts after the rosterer has selected the employees needed for that shift, with bids sent only to competent, available employees for those unfilled shifts.
Rosterer creates unfilled shifts using one of the available rostering options and publishes them to employees with those skills as an auto-select first bid or as a bid for rosterer acceptance.

Employees receive notifications of bids available to them for a predetermined number of hours, after which the bids are withdrawn.
In both cases, employees are notified of their successful bid for them to accept in the employee portal after being notified by Email
Employees accept or reject the shift offer assigned, which will be sent to the roster’s portal
In both cases, employees are notified of their successful shift bid(s) so that they can be assigned.
